ABOUT SCHAWN . . .
I am spiritually diverse and open to Interfaith as well as “spiritual but not religious” seekers. I received my spiritual direction certification through Haden Institute, N.C. My religious background is in the United Methodist Church, I earned an MDiv through Iliff School of Theology and serve in specialized ministry as a spiritual director and an Enneagram® educator. I received my certification and advanced certification in Enneagram® from Dr. Jerry Wagner’s Enneagram® Spectrum of Personality Styles® program. In addition, I offer healing ministry through my part-time work as a nurse in a hospital near my home in Colorado.
As a spiritual director, I support the unique journey of every individual, companioning you through movements in your spiritual life. I honor your religious or spiritual tradition, or your choice not to identify with one. Sacred listening is inherent in our time together; I may suggest readings or introduce other activities, in the spirit of describing rather than prescribing, to aid in your reflection and exploration of Self. I offer Enneagram® education and Dreamwork within the context of spiritual direction sessions, or apart from them. I also offer group spiritual care sessions ranging from 4-8 weeks, which are designed around a theme or spiritual topic, sacred silence and centering, as well as sharing. Although our life journeys are each unique, I believe synchronicity brings us together at key points along the way. I hope our paths will cross when the time is right for you.
